Our Story

Welcome to our website! We’re Dave & Bernice Gudgel. We met in high school, got married in college, and then began the adventure of raising three kids and leading three churches in this journey that’s been our life, so far. We still have a lot to learn, but along the way – through our own good & bad experiences, and the wisdom of others, and lots of prayer – we’ve learned a few things that we would love to share with you to hopefully make your journey a little smoother.

For those of you who like credentials: Bernice has a degree in Psychology and has focused her adult life on raising three kids (who turned out great!) and leading various ministries in the church, particularly helping Music Pastors plan and lead worship services where people can connect with God and each other. Dave is a pastor who has degrees from Westmont College (Sociology), Talbot Theological Seminary (M Div), and Western Seminary (D Min). He’s been the lead pastor at three churches, teaches for Walk Thru the Bible, and hosted a weekday radio program in Phoenix.
